I found this great video over at Jessica Knows on why being a WAHM (or marketing yourself as a WAHM) is bad for business. Scott Stratten brings up some very good points. What do you all think?

WOW..!!
Very interesting!
If you would like to exchange links, I have a work at home site, http://www.Mommysbizathome.com and I can add you to my resources page under work at home blogs if you could add my blog http://www.mommysbizathome.blogspot.com to yours. Just let me know!
I think you have a good point about over doing the 'WAHM' label. I don't see anything wrong with mentioning it, but when you push it to much some professionals will wonder if their presentation with come back to them with jelly on it. LOL!
You gave some very good food for thought! I'm an intern over at Sparkplugging.com, and this may be a good video to share with them as well.
Thank you so much for sharing a very valid point of view!
I totally agree that when you're not marketing to other WAHMS, it's best to leave your mom status out of it. For the same reason, I think using "entrepreneur" instead of "mompreneur" is a better practice if your market includes non-moms. Unfortunately non-parents can tend to think moms (especially those working from home) are incapable of getting work done quickly & well.
Great video, I missed it on Jessica's site. I agree that marketing yourself as a WAHM has it's place if you are working with WAHM. But if your target market isn't moms then I agree that advertising yourself as a WAHM can be a negative.
Very informative video. Agree, you have a good point about work-at-home mom label. It is something I should think of.
That was a real eye opener!
